Suzanne has built a successful solo law practice and has been serving clients in the Salt Lake Valley for over twenty years.
After graduating from the University of Utah School of Law, Suzanne returned to her roots in Washington, D.C., and worked for the U.S. Department of Labor for four years. She then went to Paris where she practiced Corporate and Labor Law at the Law Office of S.G. Archibald.
In 1985 Suzanne served as an attorney with Littlefield & Peterson, and settled into her specialty of family law, litigation, and estate planning.
Since 2006 she has run a thriving family law practice in the Law Office of Suzanne Marelius.
She believes in supporting local businesses and giving back to the community. She does a substantial amount of pro bono work on behalf of low income or indigent clients, and lends her legal expertise to such organizations as the YWCA, ACLU of Utah, the Women's Resource Center, and the Legal Aid Society.
Suzanne lives near the University with her two daughters, KD the beagle, and two cats, Simba and Athena. When she's not advocating for her clients, you will most likely find her working in her garden, attending her book club, or trying to attract birds to her feeders.
